The Beginning at a Musical History

Hello, my name is Camilo Rojas, and when I was child, I was a very shy person and with difficulties to interact with other people, this has generated that throughout my development I hadn’t security, trust to myself ,problems with the communication with another persons, among others things. but the music give me the possibility to express the words that my month can't sometimes pronounce. Music for me has meant different issues over the years, from a deep feeling full of positive emotions and the way to express myself in difficult moments of my life. In this way, I could describe how music has influenced the way I feel, see and communicate with my environment. This is how, in some way, I began to see this medium as the possibility of expressing my emotions and the other people around me, and why not, the possibility to transfer my feelings and evolution the way that i see the world and how i make connections with others persons.

When someone asks me how this really deep connection with music began, I can't stop thinking about the first time I was encouraged to introduce myself to be part of a musical choir, it was the beginning of 4th grade of primary school, I still remember that  It was really cold morning and my mother had taken me to primary school very early, she was driving and while doing it one of her favorite songs was playing on the music player, this song was Thriller from Michael Jackson, and this song always remember my mom singing it with the loud volume, My mom decide leave me early at the school because she has to finish a report as soon as possible. When arrived  there were not many people, i walk to my classroom but nobody had arrived, for that i decided to go to the activity board and try to now what kind of activities were being offered that year at the school, and i saw  a poster where it was mentioned that auditions were being held to belong to the local music choir and that the people who were selected would be at the Christmas concert, held in the theater of the school. From the moment I saw this poster, I really said it is something I really want to do, but just after of think of that, my mind start to have bad thoughts like: you would not be able to do this kind of activities, you sing really bad , and that nobody would really like to hear your sing in this choir. Then, I put this idea aside and went back to my classroom to wait for the bell to ring and for the morning class to begin.

A week before the auditions, I could not stop thinking about what I really wanted to do, but immediately I took the initiative to enroll in the auditions, the bad thoughts returned to me, and I lost interest in registering and being part of that chorus, my teacher who at that time was someone very close to my, note that I was behaving strangely and in one of my ups and downs of enrolling in the list, she followed me and saw me standing there watching this poster, and she  told me that this was what I had so strange for you, then, " are you applying for be parts of the chorus?" , which took me by surprise, and  a run as fast as I could. Then at the end of that day, she called me at her office and asked me what was really going on, I told her about my indecision and how I had no courage to unroll myself to do this activity, that's when she took me for Shoulders and said: "Camilo, always try something new, can generate afraid, the important thing is not to stop doing it, the important thing is not stop for the afraid and learn the best things of all the experiences. It was at that moment, where I really decided take the risk, and stand in front of a group of people to show them that I really wanted to be there, but something was missing, I needed to decide which song sing for this presentation.
